General Equipment & Infrastructure Details
Our company specializes in the cleaning, standardization, disinfection, and bagging of soft and hard wheat, barley, and triticale seeds.
The entire process is controlled through an advanced electronic panel operated by an experienced technician who oversees and adjusts all machinery functions. Our facility is equipped with two cyclones that efficiently absorb the dust produced during seed cleaning, while the ventilation system and dedicated suction system play a crucial role in maintaining clean air and healthy working conditions for our personnel.
We also provide spacious shelters for the safe storage of seeds and for convenient, protected loading. All our equipment consists of high-quality European machines that fully comply with modern industry standards and requirements.
Both our facilities and our machinery contribute to ensuring a high level of reliability and professionalism.

Production Process
Step 1: Pre-Inspection and Seed Measurement
The seed is first poured into the intake pit. Once the required quantity is collected, we measure the hectolitre weight and moisture using a specialized moisture meter.
This data is essential, as it allows us to accurately adjust the amount of treatment product that will be applied to the seed.

Step 2: Awn Cutting and First Screening
After the silos, the seed is directed to the de-awner machine, which removes the awns from the barley. It then moves to the cleaning machine for the initial cleaning process. This stage consists of six sorting sieves, where the seeds are separated based on their width, effectively removing foreign materials and impurities.

Step 3: Separation with Indented Cylinders
The seed then moves to the indented cylinders, where separation is performed based on length. In the small cylinders, broken seeds are removed, while in the larger cylinders, longer materials are separated, including one of the most competitive weed, Alopecurus myosuroides.

Step 4: Separation with Gravity Separator
The seed is directed to the gravity separator, where separation is performed based on weight. The good, healthy, and heavier seeds move toward the upper side of the machine, while any remaining impurities and lighter unwanted seeds move toward the lower side and are discarded.
This specific process is one of our key advantages over the competition, as it ensures seed of exceptionally high quality and purity.

Step 5: Seed Treating and Protection
In the next stage, the seeds are sprayed with a special protective treatment that allows them to remain safe in storage for many months. The spraying is carried out through the continuous seed treater machine, where each grain is coated using a low-volume spraying system, ensuring complete coverage of the seeds.
This process is essential and mandatory, as it protects the seed from insects that can cause significant damage — especially under the climatic conditions of Cyprus.

Step 6: Bagging
In the final stage, the cleaned and treated seed is directed for bagging. Depending on the farmer's needs, it is packaged either in standard sacks or in large big-bags, ensuring easy transport and storage.
